Well I prefer spamming wounding strike/malicious/mystic (you nearly always have one ready to use), it overall deals more damage (to me), you can spam asura scan without worrying about lowering radiant scythe's damage because you spend energy...
I don't really like this skill.

iight lemme clear some things up:
I was refering to death blossoms non-armor ignoring effect to single targets
against adjacent foes, yes i know its armor ignoring. but against 1 foe it only gets the +dmg.

wow, ok last post and i give up. if u have 14 dagger mastery, dmg against adjacent foes with DB will be 43 armor ignoring.
ur +dmg which at 14 dagger will be +43-44 i think which hits a single target for that +dmg. thats not armor ignoring.....if it was armor ignoring the skill would say deal 43-44 dmg to target foe would it?
idk if thats just me or if im misreading skill. if it says +dmg (deal +43 dmg to target foe) i dont consider it armor ignoring. if it says just dmg (deal 43 dmg to target foe) yes its armor ignoring.
its just like saying eviscerate which does around +30 something at 14 axe M. is armor ignoring which we all know isnt.

base weapon damage takes armor into consideration, bonus damage from a skill does not. If you had a pair of 0-0 daggers and used Death Blossom at 14 dm, it would always deal 43 damage.

1: +damage is always AL ignoring.
2: So, no.

Not misreading, you simply misunderstand the mechanics of attack skills.

Evis, like many attack skills, deals 2 'parts' of damage, being:
- base weapon damage, which is not AL ignoring.
- +damage, which is always the stated amount despite a foe's AL.
So what you presume everyone knows... just isn't correct.

ooo so now were talking about AL ignoring dmg eh?
in that case yes, all +dmg atks do AL ignoring dmg.
what i was stating is that u guys thought (and again i may have misunderstood), that all +dmg atks were armor ignoring meaning doing a set amount of dmg everytime.
im done.

Nah I do the same on my crit sin, except I just grab 1 Rt/Mo smiter.
It really improves you killing power.
No, the +43-44 to your target is also armor ignoring.

Death Blossom deals bonus damage to single targets which is armour ignoring + weapon damage which is non armour ignoring.
Must follow an off-hand attack. If it hits, Death Blossom strikes target foe for +20...40 damage and all adjacent foes take 20...40 damage.
As you can see Death Blossoms damage to non AoE targets is clearly stated as +damage. Testing on the Master of Damage confirms this.

Ms/DB is still better than scythe sins, it has greater damage both on target and aoe also aint killed so much by ench strips. Yeah scythe sins are good but I never been a great fan of them tbh. :P
Also DB is armor ignoring, also, IV on HM is bad.
